See, I have been a little busy. And I did indeed have to go shopping today, ugh! How can there be that many people out-or at Ikea for God's sake?

This is the shoulder bind-off.

Rhinegold is moving again.

Whooohooo! I bound off the shoulders on Rhinegold last night and will start sleeves today if I can get my husband to leave me alone. heh heh He wants to go shopping. Now isn't that a strange turn of events? I have a sneaking suspicion that aliens stole him and replaced him with this look-alike. Too bad he only wants to go to the sporting goods superstore. I have also done some more work on Little Rivers. I can only do just so much work on it and I have to stop because of the hand fatigue. It is Scottish Heather yarn and it IS bullet-proof and will be warm...but c'mon! Anyhow, the stitch definition is really great because of the gauge. That's how many of Starmore's patterns are designed. And it will look good on this alien, whoever he is. I will post some photos later.

Did ya miss me?

Ok, ok...I have been late on my entries again, haven't I? Too busy gaining stash and well....gaining stash. heh And! Working on those never-ending Cristmas presents, baby gifts (yes YOU_ Belinda!! :0) ) and all those other little things. Can't reveal those just yet, but maybe I will add pics after they are given. Would you like that?
We have decided to go to Germany to visit family right after Christmas. I am really looking forward to visiting, but can't say I am looking forward to the flight. I am afraid of heights.....especially when I can no longer see the earth or I am flying over LARGE bodies of very cold water filled with hungry things. But I digress. It will be wonderful to see the family and friends there.......and I hear there is a new knitting shop in one of the towns we vist..hehehehehe. I have been feverishly trying to finish Rhinegold and LIttle Rivers so we can wear them over there. Seeing as how it is supposed to be 80 here today, I don't suppose I will ever get to wear wool here again! Sheeesh! I said 80 people!! November! There is no such thing as global warming...repeat after me........no such thing. Bush, what the hell is wrong with you and your administration????? Why can't you just admit it? Oh...and that war thing, too. Huuummmph. Why does the vision of worker bees keep popping into my head?
